Retention is designed for minimal storage by default.
Drafts
Draft disclosures may be stored temporarily to support resumability and review. Drafts are not issued records and do not carry the retention characteristics of issued disclosures.
Issued disclosures
Issued disclosures are retained to support issuance integrity and the current reprint policy. Under the current offering, issued PDF reprint access is provided for 30 days from issuance unless a different access policy is stated at purchase time.
After the reprint window
When the reprint window expires, the issued link may no longer provide access to the PDF. Expiration of access does not change the fact that the disclosure was issued at a specific time or alter the content that was issued.
Expiration
Expired disclosures may be removed from active storage after the reprint period ends. Operational backups or short-lived residual copies may persist for ordinary system reasons for a limited time.
Deletion requests
Deletion requests may be considered where appropriate, but retention may be limited by service integrity, legal obligations, payment records, fraud prevention needs, or the need to preserve the existence of an issued record.
